I've just finished The Song of Achilles. Those in the Leamington reading group will remember we read another novel based on the Illiad last year: The War at Troy. I couldn't stop myself from comparing how each author had tackled the quite alien world of ancient Greece.
I am now part way through Half Blood Blues. As jazz fan I'm hoping to be hit with a sack of cool vibes, man!
