I'm a little behind with my reading, but now half-way through my fifth book, The Forgotten Waltz.
I have left Song for Achilles 'til last on the basis that the blurb on the back interests me the least. So far I am feeling that the sense of an ending is missing in the ones I have finished (sorry Julian). Definitely my problem, not the authors. I do like a narrative that has a 'tad-dah' ending, which proves what I always suspected - that my reading hasn't ever really got past primary school stage.
Still, at least I am finally beginning to know what flicks my reading switch, as it were...!
Look forward to seeing you all in Southam on Monday.
