Frantically Reading!

I've been reading most of today trying to catch up a bit! I finished Grace Williams last week and I really connected with it in the end. I found the descriptions and language very vivid and found Grace's thought processes eloquent. It was uncomfortable reading at times but Grace's narrative does not dwell on the negatives. I enjoyed the children's mischief in their confined surroundings. I am near the end of Memory of Love which I am also enjoying, at the start I didn't connect with all the characters but the point I have got to now, I can't wait to see what happens next, the sign of a good read! Better get back to it!
